Executive Sushi Chef Responsibilities :
- Work as a team with the entire restaurant staff
- Oversee and manage all BOH managers and operations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen
- Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of the culinary team and work closely with the Executive Chef
- Always create a great guest experience
- Adhere and direct the team to follow standard recipes to uphold quality and consistency
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
- Help monitor food freshness and quality
Executive Sushi Chef Qualifications :
- 4+ years experience as an elite-level Head Sushi Chef
- 8+ years experience in high-volume / fine dining kitchens with at least $15M in annual revenue
- Passion for food and cooking
- Ability and passion for leading a team
- Hands-on approach to running a sushi team
- Must have experience in high-end Asian cuisine / Sushi / Omakase
- Ability to step into an established brand and grow with the company
Executive Sushi Chef Benefits :
