Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reachingJOB SUMMARYThe STEMI Program Manager is responsible for the collection, entry, maintenance, and reporting of data for the Registries with the AHA and NCDR as well as the state of Arkansas and The Joint Commission.
The Program manager shall utilize the data for injury research, epidemiology, injury prevention and performance improvement.
Collects and accurately enters STEMI related patient information into the registry in a timely manner. Completes and verifies accuracy of data entry prior to admission;
Ensures compliance with all Registry’s and all appropriate standards. Collaborates with Pulsara to ensure computer compliance with hardware and software upgrades.
Maintains confidentiality of patients and employee’s information in verbal, written, and electronic format; Communicates with EMS agencies, NPCI Facilities to obtain pre-hospital injury data;
Performs administrative support functions for the STEMI Program. Participates as a leader in the maintenance of and preparation for review and presentations to appropriate Committee’s.
Performs other duties as assigned.Position includes direct patient care with STEMI and NSTEMI patients both during evaluation and procedure as well as direct patient follow up with patients post procedure.
This position also interacts with TAVR patients to assure patient needs were met during and post procedure.Under the direction of the Vice President of Heart and Vascular Services, the STEMI Program Manager will focus on development in conjunction with cardiac service line objectives and goals implementation and evaluation of educational programs that will enhance performance, promote staff development and support the mission and vision of St.
Bernards Medical Center. This role will include : educator, facilitator, clinical role model, and consultant for the STEMI network as well any additional Cardiovascular referral programs and data bases as instructed by the Vice President of Heart and Vascular Services.
Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position may also allow for clinical and career development in the Cath and EP lab as a circulating RN This position is required to utilize independent judgment.
