Key Qualifications :
Knowledge of Mac OS X file system structures and command line tools
Experience with custodial data collections for eDiscovery and / or forensic processing
Experience with data processing in an electronic discovery environment
Ability to write basic SQL queries
Ability to manage multiple short-term requests of varying priority and SLAs as well as
long-term projects
High attention to detail
Description :
Performing hands-on forensic data collection and eDiscovery processing services to the business.
Acting as a liaison with Apple legal and litigation specialists to coordinate on day- today eDiscovery data collection and processing requests.
Providing technical requirements and guidance to internal and external development teams to drive the development of eDiscovery tools.
Maintaining case and data archive inventories and retention programs, using databases and legal systems.
Developing and maintaining SOPs for eDiscovery processing and data collection.
Creating detailed, professional documentation and reports, including performance metrics and investigation reports.
Partnering with case teams to develop defensible approaches to data collection and processing.
Working closely with outside vendors and counsel to minimize document review costs and time.
Education :
Position prefers a bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of equivalent, hands-on forensics or legal / eDiscovery experience.
Experience administering Mac OS X, Linux, or other *NIX servers in a data center environment hosting and supporting critical applications and services
Proficient with BSD / Linux shell environments and scripting (bash, perl, python)
Experience with filesystem forensic toolkits (EnCase, FTK, Blacklight)
Ability to use command-line text processing tools (grep, awk, sed) to manipulate data
Basic understanding of data encryption / decryption technologies and tools (PGP, GPG, S / MIME, FileVault)
Project Management experience preferred
