Field Service Technician

Job Summary

We are currently looking for Fire Systems Field Service Technician. The t echnician will be expected to travel 50%. The Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service / installation of various pieces of fire protection equipment.

The Field Technician must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.

• Fire Suppression System Installations
• Low voltage electrical systems
• Mechanical (tubing / piping)
• Perform scheduled service of suppression systems.
• Troubleshooting any problems that may arise in a timely manner.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of basic or low level mechanical and electrical testing.
• Travel to semiconductor facilities.
• Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection) ?
• Basic lifting (up to 40lbs) ?
• Bending of the knees and overhead reaching ? ? Minimum Qualifications : ?
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• High School Diploma or GED ?
• Experience with fire / alarm systems, but not required
• Experience with Semiconductor facilities, but not required
