Role Overview :
As a Project Manager, you'll spearhead the execution of successful outcomes on Commercial Construction projects. Leading with a customer-centric approach, you'll drive the project team forward, fostering open communication, setting clear directives, and maintaining elevated standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.
- Expertly interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications.
- Mentor junior Project Management staff to ensure effective project oversight.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to identify future project opportunities.
- Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Strategically address drawing interpretation challenges and conflicts.
- Manage the comprehensive processing of project documentation, including Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, and more.
- Facilitate accurate and timely Owner Billings and cost projections.
- Provide oversight of Project Schedules and progress updates.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial / light industrial projects.
- Profound understanding of building systems and construction methods.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to autonomously manage project lifecycle.
