Senior Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant to join our Kennesaw finance team. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries and assuring successful month-end closing.

What You Will Do :

• Perform day to day and monthly accounting activities including, but not limited to Journal Entries in GL, accruals and variance analysis into ERP (Datacor).
• Perform subledger reconciliations in accordance with Global Accounting Policy.
• Manage the accounts payable process, reconciling the PO to the receiving documents to the invoice investigating differences, ensuring payables are correctly coded and posted timely.
• Prepare daily customer invoicing, including verification of the customer and product information in accordance with corporate accounting policies.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Assist in the preparation of Forecasts and Annual Budget
• Reconcile fixed assets and prepare monthly journal entries for amortization and depreciation.
• Prepare and analyze daily / weekly / monthly plant statistics and provide analysis of labor and productivity.
• Prepare variance reports for inventory counts and instruct on recounts per plant standards, including quarterly inventory obsolescence review and any reserve calculation.
• Perform annual review of vendor and customer data in local ERP to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, includes verification of payment terms.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4 years of Accounting experience
• No immigration sponsorship available for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications :

• MBA or CPA
• Financial analysis experience in management reporting, planning and analysis
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• Attention to detail with proactive independent work style
• Result oriented, proactive and possesses a high level of integrity
