Lead assigned Bid as project manager, set bid response strategy with bid sponsor, ensure timely engagement of relevant stakeholders and deliver complete winning proposal, with a defined scope, accurate Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP)commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Bid responses in line with MPL process
- Analyze in detail the request for proposal (RFP) and define the bid strategy taking into account the commercial strategy defined together with the Global head of Growth and center bid manager
- Set RFQ response schedule and engage response stakeholders timely to ensure bid completed on time.
- Gather market & target prices
- Participate to the contract negotiations
- Attend Customer negotiation meetings as required.
- Prepare the documentation necessary to submit to Customer
- Prepare the technical description of offered solution
- Prepare the technical clause by clause and / or list of derogations
- Prepare the project master schedules
- Ensure that all Customer questions have been answered, in line with commercial strategy
- Review of the final contract documents before contract signature
- Manage the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for no critical or low critical bids.
- Verify all response requests follow SFDC entry protocol prior to accepting bid for submission.
- Complete Postmortem process for all bids and implement lessons learned
Accountable for :
- Keep records of all documentation produced for tender preparation (RFP, Q&A, Presentations, letters, contract ...) and traceability until contract signature
- Provide documents in time in compliance with the tender and global requirements.
- Sharing best practices.
Qualifications and skills :
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field.
- Bachelor degree
- Extensive technical and product knowledge including experience in project solution design, priding and value proposition design.
- Experience in customer facing engagements and presentations.
- Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making across regions, product(s), and internal stake-holders.
- Strong communication skills
