Description

Summary / Objective

The Director of Organizational Development and Change Management at ARC Industries is a pivotal role responsible for driving organizational change and growth through strategic project management and change management initiatives.

This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to execute cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with ARC's mission and strategic objectives.

The Director of Organizational Development and Change Management will utilize their expertise in project management, change management principles, and leadership to foster a culture of growth, innovation, and continuous improvement within ARC Industries.

Essential Functions / Job Duties

  • Support ARC Industries' Senior Leadership Team with managing cross-functional strategic initiatives related to the growth and expansion of the organization.
  • Utilize project management principles, methodologies, and tools to support the entire project management / process improvement lifecycle.
  • Create project plans, establish project priorities, align resources, engage in problem-solving, proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and work cross-functionally to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive communication and collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met and there is alignment with ARC's strategic initiatives.
  • Meet with key stakeholders on cross-functional teams to drive project execution, identify dependencies, critical path milestones, and deploy change management tactics to support project or change adoption.
  • Provide expertise in implementing project change enablement strategies and utilize the change management tools necessary to ensure successful implementation of strategic projects or initiatives.
  • Lead the execution of change enablement activities for large-scale change initiatives, including being a coach for ARC senior leaders and / or managers in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsors.
  • Help drive a culture of growth and continuous quality improvement for ARC Industries.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial / organizational psychology, organizational behavior, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management leadership, change management, and corporate development.
  • 3+ years of experience leading organizational change initiatives using change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Preferred certifications : Project Management Certification (PMP or CAPM), Agile Project Management or other PM coursework, Change Management Certification.

Eligibility Qualifications

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Possess and maintain a valid State of Ohio Driver's License; meet and maintain insurability standards to drive for company business.
  • Must submit to and pass applicable background checks and drug screen.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work / Travel

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position must be available to provide support at other times as needed.

Travel is primarily local during the business day.
