Job Summary :
Join our dynamic team as an Implementation Account Manager where you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our portfolio within the employee benefits insurance space.
Your focus will be on both acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing satisfaction through effective implementation and management of benefits plans.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Manage the entire client lifecycle from onboarding through renewal, ensuring a seamless transition and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Achieve targets for new business acquisition and client retention.
- Implementation & Setup :
- Oversee the implementation process for new and renewing clients, including the setup of benefits administration platforms and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
- Coordinate and manage the application and contract processes.
- Develop and distribute customized benefit guides and resources.
- Facilitate the setup and rollout of benefits administration platforms, such as Employee Navigator and other external systems.
- Open Enrollment and Compliance :
- Strategize and implement open enrollment processes, including auditing and processing.
- Update COBRA administration and communicate necessary changes to members.
- Conduct necessary discrimination testing to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Documentation and CRM Management :
- Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain detailed notes and records of client interactions and implementations.
- Ensure all client documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in client management or account management, preferably in the employee benefits or insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of benefits administration, including EDI setup and health insurance regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable Attributes :
- Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration platforms.
- Knowledge of COBRA, ACA, and other compliance requirements in employee benefits.
