- Attends design meetings and interacts with clients at his or her level of experience and work with client managers to develop client relationships.
- Direct responsibility for projects, and leading a team in the development of schematics, plans, and specifications for transportation projects.
- Perform work involving the application of conventional aspects of roadway design.
- Builds and maintains relationships with others on the project teams : works collaboratively to ensure that technical, quality and client requirements are implemented on projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or science field.
- 5+ years design engineering experience working on municipal infrastructure projects, and / or county and state roadway projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
- Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD / Civil 3D. Microstation / OpenRoads Designer a plus.
