Dragon of the West is a boba tea and treat company operating in the Salt Lake County at farmers markets and events. We are looking for great and enthusiastic staff members to work in our bakery.
Professional baking experience Is not required to apply, although a culinary / food service background is preferred.
Duties :
- Assist in the preparation of bakery items such as cookies, quick breads, and cakes.
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work areas
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Skills :
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience in pastry or culinary arts is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working individually and as part of a team
- Understanding of food preparation and production processes
- Experience in catering or food handling is beneficial
