OUR CLIENT is looking to add a HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER I (HRBP-I) to their team of HR professionals.
The HRBP-I is a key member of the administrative team and will administer the agency across all HR facets and at every level of the organization.
The HRBP-I will act as a positive driver of company culture while providing a unique and meaningful balance between established leadership and hands-on execution of employee relations including but not limited to talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, performance management and training & development.
The successful Human Resources Business Partner I will :
- Administer day-to-day HR operations, including performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Manage talent acquisition, including job postings, conducting interview(s), onboarding new hires, and pre-hire assessments.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave compliance, and benefits reconciliation.
- Oversee and track employee training & development programs to support staff growth and retention.
- Collaborate with management to address HR challenges and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Manage drug and alcohol administration, employee eligibility verifications, and ongoing screening and reports.
Will perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge of and familiarity with State and Federal Employment Law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of agency technology and platforms used to include HRCM, ATS and data / communications systems
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work interdepartmentally cohesively with all staff levels.
- Ability to work independently and objectively.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- PHR / SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not required
- Associate's degree or higher in Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, provided that the candidate demonstrates equivalent skills, knowledge, and competencies acquired through active professional practices.)
- 1-2 years' previous experience in Human Resources role
