HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

• Perform QA / QC tests on a variety of construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar / grout, ensuring compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and project-specific requirements.
• Conduct on-site observations and inspections to verify compliance with local building codes and project contract documents.
• Document field activities, observations, and testing results using advanced field and laboratory information management systems.
• Communicate test results effectively with project managers, general contractors, and clients to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
• Operate independently in the field under the guidance of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager, representing the company in a professional manner.

ARE YOU A SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN ROCK STAR?

• Experience : 5+ years of experience in performing multi-discipline special inspections and tests.
• Certifications : ACI Level I certification for concrete sampling / testing is required. ICC Certification in Soils, Structural Concrete, and Masonry is preferred, with the ability to obtain additional certifications as needed.
• Skills : Proficiency in reading plans and specifications, excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and the ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.

Other Requirements : Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauges is a plus. A valid State Drivers license with a clean driving record is essential.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company.
