Description of Work
Maintain Campus Recreation sports turf and landscape areas on both City and East Campus. This includes installation / tear out, weed and pest control, irrigation, chemical application, litter pickup, pruning, etc.
Serve as main outdoor maintenance employee for the Leadership Training Center pertaining to mowing, mulching, irrigation repair, hardscapes, herbicide spraying, tree control, noxious weeds, etc.
Assist in sports turf maintenance as needed. Operate equipment as necessary, such as tractors, mowers, aerators, sprayers, utility vehicles, etc.
Perform preventive maintenance and repair of small engine equipment and tools. Typical equipment would be chainsaws, weedeaters, blowers, lawnmowers.
Maintenance would include changing oil and sharpening blades. Help with special event setup and tear down. Assist in snow removal on both City and East Campus, as well as the Leadership Training Center as needed.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
