We are looking for a passionate and dedicated FLOOR MANAGER / DINING ROOM MANAGER to join the team. Cucina MORINI is the newest restaurant concept from Altamarea Group, an award-winning global hospitality firm with 15 restaurants worldwide.
Altamarea Group offers managers an opportunity to work with high-quality Italian cuisine and wine / spirits, and an operations team firmly committed to investing in and developing talent.
Through its talented team of employees, Altamarea Group creates special memories through exceptional hospitality, delivering the highest level of food and service across distinct brands and concepts.
Floor Manager Responsibilities include :
- Train, develop and motivate all staff
- Organize, supervise and execute services
- Lead and engage other management team on operational tasks and strategic direction
- Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on daily, consistent basis
- Monitor and track key financial targets (revenue, food cost, labor cost, etc.)
- Communicate collaboratively and effectively across all departments and levels of staff
- Demonstrate emphasis on driving business while maintaining food and service consistency
- Respond promptly and accurately to all client matters
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, staff, vendors and all other constituents
- Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to safety, health, jurisdictional laws, and labor compliance.
Floor Manager Requirements include :
- Strong background in full-service dining and knowledge of service standards
- Exemplary knowledge of wine and spirits
- Adept with all restaurant technology (POS, purchasing, labor management)
- Highly organized, efficient, and meticulous with attention-to-detail on all operational matters
- Ability to communicate openly and effectively with clients and staff
- Ability to train and motivate all levels of restaurant staff
- Beverage / Food handler's card may be required according to local and / or state requirements
- Physical requirements include : ability to lift and carry items up to 35lbs, and to stand, walk up and down stairs, and exert well-paced mobility for extended period of time
- Flexible schedule and open availability (full-time) to meet business needs
