HEXA Containment is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Representative (RSR) to join our team in Houston, TX. The Regional Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within one of HEXA’s targeted regions.
Reporting directly to our Division Managers, working with them to strategically develop and monitor high-level sales plans that target revenue growth through the selling of diverse product lines to a diverse customer base.
The RSR will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives. In addition to this, they will be expected to onboard New Accounts and maintain Active Accounts, while ensuring a healthy product mix is being sold to the Region’s Customer base.
The Revenue, Active Account, and New Account goals will be established by the Division Manager.
The RSR must be based out of HEXA’s headquarters in Houston, TX as they will utilize a two-fold approach of in-office phone selling as well as traveling within the Region and selling in person.
The RSR will be the sole owner of the Region’s sales approach and efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The RSR is expected to work in their related market(s) selling to current and potential customers
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular communication via phone calls and in-person sales visits, ensuring continued growth
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned region, including prospecting and cold calling
Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on our diverse product offerings
They will identify all purchasers within a company and determine the products they buy and their volume
Visiting all strategic points of sales on the route, within their territories., as assigned by their manager
Collaborate with the sales team to develop demand-creation activities and promote strong supplier relations
Attend trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and drive sales
Utilize CRM software daily for managing sales activities, including prospecting, scheduling, documenting customer interactions, and maintaining a comprehensive list of customer information complete with pertinent contact information
Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify sales opportunities and threats.
Work closely with the Division Manager to develop and execute sales plans and strategies.
Manage Region product sales mix, determining the necessary mix of products, rate of sale, and a measurable best practices approach
Travel within the region as required, with overnight travel expectations of 2-3 nights per week, every other week
Coordinate with sales and marketing personnel to capitalize on sales opportunities and support customer needs
REQUIREMENTS
Recent college grad (Bachelor's degree received no more than 2 years ago)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM software
Must communicate professionally
Proven sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Previous cold-calling experience is essential
Good driving record
Willingness to travel as required (up to 50%)
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Office Setting
Prolonged sitting in office or car
Overnight travel expectations are 3 nights per week, every other week, not to exceed more than 8 nights per month

$50,000 base salary
