Position Summary The Assistant Vice President, Logistics and Supply Chain Operations, will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee supply chain management operations throughout the enterprise.
This executive role is responsible and administratively accountable for execution of the OH Supply Chain. Superior leadership in procurement, logistics, warehousing, and customer service is expected. Responsibilities
- Provides executive leadership, strategy, and oversight to the enterprise on supply chain operations, warehousing, inbound and outbound logistics, transportation strategy and organizational design.
- Oversee operations for all locally delivered supply chain functions including, but not limited to local inventory management, local supply warehousing and distribution.
- Coordinate, manage, and evaluate market Supply Chain senior directors, directors, and managers.
- Oversees senior and regional supply chain leaders to ensure integration with operational teams’ strategic objectives.
- Manage and own supply expense with the Chief Supply Chain Officer, and the executive leaders.
- Oversees the identification and resolution of facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on supply chain operations projects and systems.
- Regularly shares key performance indicators with hospital executives and establish joint plans for improvements.
- Oversees time sensitive, high volume procurement transactions to support clinical and non-clinical needs throughout the enterprise.
- Collaborates with other corporate experts in purchasing, contracting, and analytics.
- Ensure education and enforce compliance with procurement, contracting, vendor management and logistics.
- Monitor trends and changes in supply chain within the health industry and other industries.
- Responsible for a team of 200+ with an emphasis on adaptability and service
- Prepares budget, goals, and business plans for areas of responsibility.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions

Licensure / Certification None. Experience Ten (10) years’ experience in Supply Chain, to include at least seven (7) years in progressively responsible management or supervisory roles in a medium-to-large Integrated Delivery Network.
Ten (10) years in a hospital supply chain environment required.
