In this role, you will execute the safety program to ensure satisfaction to internal and external personnel. The Safety Coordinator will collaborate with plant operations ensuring all programs, procedures and trainings are in accordance with company policy.
You will assist the team toward company goals in quality, reliability, waste reduction and productivity. The company will rely on you for extensive expertise and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions :
1. Implement, maintain, and improve safety policies and programs
2. Responsible for the execution and compliance to regulatory audits
3. Rigorous oversight into personnel adherence to safety programs and trainings
4. Maintain close relationships with internal personnel which drive performance and collaboration
5. Execute the vision for the Safety Program
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree or combination of manufacturing experience
2. 3 years of demonstrated experience implementing safety programs
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Demonstrated accomplishments leading and developing a safety conscious environment
