General Liability Attorney
gpac is working with a firm where their depth and experience are available nationwide with 6 different office locations. They are looking for an insurance defense lawyer to join their Arizona office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in all their needs on their insurance defense cases.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and trial experience.
The lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including automobile accidents, personal injury, and professional liability cases.
The lawyer will also be responsible for managing client relationships and negotiating with opposing counsel. The position can be 4 days remote, 1 in office.
Position Details :
- Responsible for high exposure litigation cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner.
- Conduct accident scene inspections with experts, draft reports and analyze liability, causation and damages.
- Conduct depositions, attend hearings and argue motions.
- Interview witnesses, expert depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel and conduct legal research.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of insurance defense / liability litigation experience.
- Ability to handle files from inception to trial
- Experience with depositions, hearings, meditations and trial.
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.
