Position : Buyer II and III
Location : Remote (Onsite if you want to be a perm - FL, AL, WA)
Duration : 6 Months
Day to day : looking for someone with basic procurement / buying skills. Wants this person to collaborate with other folks who are handling multiple commodities.
This person will assist other buyers with their day to day
- Uploading / finishing PO
- Taking meetings
- Helping where other buyers are being bogged down with work
Team size : large. 22 buyers on this team, will float around helping these folks. Will work with entire program and engine teams as well.
Mainly its supporting the procurement team.
Training : will shadow buyers for system training, rocket school training, hands on training after that going over supplier calls.
Overtime : not mandatory. Sounds like no weekend work
Conversion : Possible conversion
Programs / certifications : MS office, especially excel, cost point experience, Exostar, MRP experience in general
MS excel : basic level
Non tech skills :
- Knowledge of supply chain
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Organizational skills
