Are you a highly experienced Chief DevSecOps Software Architect looking to take on a role with significant organization impact?
Highlight Technologies is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Chief DevSecOps Software Architect. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of cutting-edge solutions, offering technical leadership at both program and account levels.
Your responsibilities will include shaping digital solutions for federal civilian agencies, with a particular focus on cloud migration, advanced technology integration, and legacy system modernization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader, driving technology and solutions with broad-reaching implications.
- Lead the development of solution architectures to tackle complex problems.
- Identify and lead growth opportunities as a technical leader.
- Support Proposals by leading opportunity solution development, developing proposal content, and / or leading technical volumes.
- Develop Technical Playbooks related to but not limited to cloud, software development, digital transformation, and other technical domains
- Lead or Support Technical Challenges as needed
- Lead or Support Innovation & Research & Development Projects as needed
- Collaborate to transform the way federal civilian agencies use technology, encompassing cloud migration, advanced technology integration, and legacy system modernization.
- Apply industry-leading methodologies and technologies such as Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures.
- Drive architectural consistency and technical solution architecture across all layers, from infrastructure to user interface.
- Incorporate modern software development principles and technologies, including microservices and containers.
- Mentor technical staff, fostering their growth in both technical knowledge and business development skills.
- Build cross-functional teams of technical professionals and mentor team members on technology solutions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a technical field, with a focus on software development and modernization efforts.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
- 8+ years of experience in architecting high-performance, high-availability systems with national importance missions.
- Experience working closely with senior-level client stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or a progression of acumen and competency through project experience(s)
Nice to Have :
- 5+ years of experience integrating disparate technologies into cohesive technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience leading technical volumes for multi-hundred-million-dollar federal opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering tailored, complex presentations to clients.
- Experience in establishing frameworks for systems modernization efforts using DevSecOps and test-driven development.
- Experience working in Agile environments with multiple product-centric Agile teams.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP underlying services.
- Cloud Architecture, Software Development, or DevSecOps Certifications.
