Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all grant-related accounting activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit grant applications and proposals, working closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the financial aspects of government contracts, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Monitor and track fixed assets, including the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, providing detailed and accurate information on our financial status.
- Work closely with other team members to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
- Manage the Grants Gateway, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and submit the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR), ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of non-profit accounting principles and practices, applying this knowledge to all aspects of your work.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of property management / real estate.
- Experience working at a non-profit is a plus.
- Must have a strong financial reporting skills in accordance to GAAP.
- Excellent financial reporting skills, with the ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex financial information.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel, is required.
- Experience with financial software and systems is preferred.
