HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS OUR DIRECTOR OF NURSING
As the Director of Nursing at Crystal Springs, your day begins with a team meeting to discuss the health and wellness of our residents.
You oversee the coordination of medical and dental needs, serve as the Medication Administration Program (MAP) Consultant, and provide guidance to your team of nurses.
You collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with health regulations, review medical reports, and communicate updates to staff and families.
Your leadership ensures our residents receive the highest level of care in a nurturing and supportive environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE
- Registered nurse currently licensed in the State of Massachusetts (in good standing)
- Proficient in performing nursing assessments and triaging emergencies
- Experienced in reviewing and analyzing incident reports and medical evaluations
- Skilled in interpreting lab, X-ray, and other medical reports
- Capable of supervising and serving as a role model
- Knowledgeable in safety policies and documentation requirements
- Experienced in supervising medical treatments and personal care
- Understanding of client confidentiality and relevant regulations
- Proficient in computer skills and documentation
- Ability to plan, organize, and motivate staff
- Knowledgeable in child abuse reporting procedures and cultural sensitivity
- Understanding of laws, contractual obligations, and licensing regulations
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English
- Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents almost exclusively written in English
