Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.
General Accountabilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure their accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit / loss statements
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Job Qualifications
Education : Associate's degree.
Experience :
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (minimum 3-4 years)
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Experience with payroll and tax filing preferred
