Assistant Escrow Officer

Responsibilities

Meritage Homes in conjunction with Carefree Title Agency, Inc. is hiring two part-time Assistant Escrow Officers in Scottsdale, AZ!

The Assistnat Escrow Officer is responsible for establishing new escrow accounts and processing escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Open new builder escrows in Qualiasystem, which includes initial entry of contract information, scanning of contract documents into the system for multiple States.
• Order statements from HOA Management Companies
• Order and send out title commitments and lender title requests
• Upload and process all items received through Qualia Work Queues
• Perform administrative and clerical duties to assist in the escrow process
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of escrow within all operations
• This role is 90% remote, part-time offering 10-25 hours per week

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of escrow experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret purchase agreements
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of organization
• Team oriented with the ability to work independently
