Job Description :
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will assist the Accounting Department by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
Process and organize invoices to ensure invoices are paid and received in a timely manner
Participate in making current processes more efficient and more effective
Communicate effectively both internally and externally regarding payments or invoices to vendors and / or other 3rd party entities
Follow three-way match process and resolve variances
Deadline-oriented and able to work in a high transaction volume environment
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail on daily assignments
Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
Ideal Skills and Qualifications :
Microsoft Office (Strong Excel)
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Technical knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
1-3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance position
High School Diploma
