Sheet Piling Services (SPS) is searching for a qualified project manager to provide construction management services for the Heavy Civil (DOT) Division within the state of Wisconsin.

The project manager will oversee highway transportation structure projects, including bridges, culverts, earth retention structures, etc.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual to join our experienced current team as we continue to expand.

While project locations may range in location around the state of Wisconsin, we are looking for an individual to primarily manage projects in the South and Southeast portions of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Completes project permitting, scheduling, owner related submittals, and change order management.
• Executes project cost tracking and projections.
• Maintains effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders including clients, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assists in material and equipment procurement.
• Hires and manages field staff and supports their development.
• Completes regular site visits to active project sites.
• Estimates prospective work.

Minimum Requirements :

• Ability to travel within the state of Wisconsin.
• Construction experience, heavy civil or industrial.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Residence (or ability to move) to south or southeast portion of WI
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 6+ years of experience managing transportation projects / bridges.
• Strong leadership & effective time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team-player mentality.
