Position Summary : Our client seeks an experienced and motivated Senior Development Manager to join their Houston team. They have over $3 billion in industrial projects, and this role will work across the Texas market.
The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background and a comprehensive understanding of complex large acreage land acquisitions, industrial design, and entitlements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee multiple land pursuits across Texas.
- Manage consultants and perform due diligence on potential development sites, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Coordinate closely with the construction team to ensure smooth project execution from inception to completion.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring
- client satisfaction.
- Navigate the entitlement process, securing necessary permits and approvals for development projects.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 7-15+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, with a strong emphasis on industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of the entitlement process and experience in due diligence.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and work effectively through incentives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
