We are dedicated to providing exceptional payroll services and are looking for a detailed-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our payroll operations.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Payroll Specialist to handle payroll processes for 8+ companies operating in various states along the East Coast.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, experience with ADP Payroll, and a solid understanding of payroll functions, excluding tax-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Enter and process payroll hours, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Utilize ADP Payroll software for data entry, payroll processing, and report generation.

Maintain accurate records of employee time, PTO (paid time off), and attendance.

Manage and process garnishments, direct deposits, and deductions.

Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages and other payroll-related amounts.

Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data and streamline processes.

Partner with internal accounting team to ensure payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.

Participate in the successful implementation onto ADP Payroll for multiple companies.

Assist with maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Stay updated on company policies and procedures related to payroll and employee compensation.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing.

Experience managing payroll for multiple companies or clients simultaneously.

Proven experience with ADP Payroll software.

Strong understanding of payroll functions and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll issues efficiently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with implementation of ADP Payroll from the beginning stages
