Join us and be part of a brand that stands for excellence.This role is onsite in South Gate, CA.Responsibilities : Design men's seasonal collections and capsulesPerform competitive market researchHelp create trend overviews for each season, showcasing silhouette, fabric, trims, print, and color.
Create and maintain seasonal tracking charts and line sheetsSource and develop fabric & trim with vendorsThe issue, track, and receive raw material sample POsSet up styles in the PLM systemIssue and track sample requestsWork directly with the Pattern, Sample, R & D, Dye, and Production Departments.
Oversee product development, fittings, and line presentationsPass off seasonal collections and capsules to the Production DepartmentMeet product development milestones and calendar due datesRequirements : Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design preferred2-5 years of denim design experienceExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughKeen understanding of garment construction, fit, denim fabric, and wash processInsight into customer needs and market trends with the ability to apply to core and seasonal fashion productExperience working alongside and leading a design teamClear and compelling written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple projects, partner with various departments & perform in a fast-paced team environment
