One of our clients is seeking motivated Behavioral Health Techician (BHT) professionals in the Norristown, PA area. The Behavior Health Technician (BHT) is formally known as the TSS / Therapeutic Staff Support.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide1 : 1 intensive, behavior-based interventions as written in treatment plan. Adhere precisely to interventions in the treatment plan.
- Provide a written clinical progress note for each encounter with client.
- Attend weekly supervisions as required.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (or 60 college credits) and 3 years of paid experience working with children
- Bachelor's degree with any concentration and at least 1 year of paid experience working with children
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field
- Ability to complete and pass clearances : FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
- Must be able to produce current medical / health documents including : physical examination, Tuberculosis / TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid Level 2 certification
