George Fox University announces a tenure-track faculty position in management, to begin in August 2025. We seek applicants with the ability to teach in a broad range of undergraduate, MBA and DBA management courses.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in appropriate professional and scholarly activities, participate in doctoral dissertation work, supervise internships, advise students, and carry out other faculty responsibilities.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Teaching courses in strategy and general management.
  • Engaging with professional management communities.
  • Participating in the work of the department and the university, including advising and serving on university committees as needed.
  • Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
  • By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
  • Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc.

and works well with a variety of people.

We're looking for candidates who have :

  • An earned doctorate in Management or a related field, PhD or DBA preferred.
  • ABD candidates will be considered.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
  • Expertise in strategy and general management.
  • A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.

Preference will be given to those who have the following attributes :

Qualifications to support one or more of the following subjects : strategy, business information systems, data analytics, organizational behavior, or management science.

Salary and rank :

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching experience at previous institutions may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.

Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.
