Dalwadi Hospitality Management / JD Engineering & Construction, headquartered in Houston, Texas, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development / Administrator to join our dynamic team.

As a key member, you will play a vital role in developing and executing business strategies, overseeing sales progress, and fostering professional relationships with clients.

You will also be in charge of a number of administrative duties by working closely with the President & corporate team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research to develop effective sales solutions
• Promote company products / services to prospective clients
• Participate in collaborative business meetings
• Provide constructive feedback to corporate team
• Review sales contracts for compliance
• Interact with clients and address inquiries
• Drafts reports and correspondence.
• Orders supplies and equipment; maintains service contracts.
• Attends meetings and takes meeting notes.
• Liaises with internal and external units to carryout job tasks.
• Assists managers and supervisors in developing policies and procedures.
• Maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Solves problems associated with vendors regarding shipments, billing, and statements.
• Monitors expenditures, processes payment requests for reimbursement; prepares purchase orders, purchase requisitions and ensures proper procedures for paying service providers, consultants, and contractors.
• Receives and audits invoices for accuracy and compliance and ensures prompt payment of departmental bills.
• Handles administrative tasks
• Oversees hiring procedures.
• Handles event planning for meetings, professional development, and other department initiatives.
• Coordinate submittals with City / County for plan reviews, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
