Raba Kistner is seeking a Business Development Administrator to join our team in the greater Houston, TX marketplace. The primary responsibilities will be to identify new clients, cross-selling opportunities, and continue to build relationships with current clients.

This position is primarily about creating more opportunities and networking to open new doors, working with various systems including customer relationship management (CRM), and sourcing new leads.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Conduct market research to identify new clients and opportunities regionally to target within our key sectors.
  • Source and contact leads within our key sectors.
  • Work with the Business Development and Operations Team to follow up on leads, opportunities and assist with client maintenance / feedback.
  • Build relationships with existing clients (project managers to marketing support) to ensure continued business and teaming.
  • Deliver reports on growth and new opportunities to stakeholders including gatekeeper duties related to Customer Relationship Management and lead generation / analytics.
  • Attend industry and trade events as well as managing participation in all regional events by operations and Business Development staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years relate experience required. 3 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.

Communicate both written and orally to present organized and thorough information to the intended audience. Intermediate Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.

Minimum typing speed of 55-60 WPM. Occasional use of complex technologies and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Vision requirements include close, distance, depth perception, and ability to focus.

Work environment includes occasionally work in extreme cold (not weather-related, such as freezer, cold storage, etc.), extreme heat (not weather-related, such as furnace, kitchen, ovens, etc.

Noise level for this position is moderate (business office with computers / printers, light traffic, etc.).
