The Peer Coach will assist students in developing their learning strategies and study skills to help meet their academic goals.
Through one-on-one, group meetings and / or classroom environments the Peer Coach will be a knowledgeable guide for ISU students.
This includes connecting students to campus resources, serving as a role model and advocating for students.

Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meeting students from across campus to develop study skills, such as note-taking, time management, dealing with test preparation & anxiety, and learner self-understanding.
Track and take notes on appointments. Refer students to other campus resources as necessary. Present to classes on tutoring when needed through group, one-on-one sessions and classroom environment.
Attend training on metacognitive tutoring.
