Our client, a nationwide leader in custom metal and steel components, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Control Inspector, to join their winning team in Peekskill.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Measure dimensions and to inspect for flaws in finished or semi-finished parts. Maintain test equipment to calibration requirements.
- Analyze drawings for inspection characteristics and perform inspections independently.
- Must have good knowledge of GD&T.
- Should be proficient in the use of several types of gages and instrumentation used for inspection (ie CMM, Comparator, Micrometers, height gages).
- Determine actual measurements of in process and finished products through use of various measuring tools and techniques.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum of 2 Years in a Precision Manufacturing Environment. WE OFFER :
