Our Pallet Supply client is looking for a contract to hire, Logistics Office Administrator in Houston, TX (Onsite, Energy Corridor).
You will be responsible for all administrative duties for the office including answering phones, managing emails, processing orders, reporting, and bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
- Primary multi-line phone coverage
- Answer customer question and troubleshooting issues, escalating internally as needed
- Manage multiple email boxes, sort and distribute incoming emails
- Manage day-to-day customer PO process, order processing, and communicating orders internally
- Assist with AP and AR functions
- Create daily and monthly reports
- Assist in price gathering and negotiate minor Service Provider pricing issues
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain.
- 1-3 years of Customer Service / Administration in a Logistics, Shipping, Freight, Transportation, or Order Management environment.
- Professional oral and written communication skills
