You are to provide your top class customer service to all enquiries from every source, whilst presenting accurate and timely data entry, record management and collating.
In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining open lines of communication with reporting lines and all other teams you liaise with to ensure your tasks are completed effectively.
This role is an invaluable asset to our clinical teams and the tasks you perform are essential for our wards to run smoothly.
Mō tō mātou rōpū About our team
We are a team within a team - within a team
This role is situated in the wards so your immediate team is the ward you are working on. You will be working with clinical staff and other health care providers, administratively supporting them and your ward’s needs.
You also are part of the greater Ward Administration team who staff all other wards. The work you do is mainly replicated across all our wards so having your fellow colleague nearby for support and trouble-shooting works perfectly.
The overarching service we report to administratively is Patient Administration Services (PAS).
PAS is made up of 5 other administration clinical support areas : Booking Centre, Outpatient Reception, Call Centre, Clinical Typing and Emergency Dept.
Your patient’s journey generally begins or is completed within these departments so ensuring all our data capture is entered efficiently and correctly is imperative for continuity in our patient’s current care and future presentations.
Moū About you
We are looking for a team player who is able to use their proven customer service skills with all our customers to provide them the best journey possible during their stay with us.
With any ever changing environment we need robust, adaptable and lateral thinkers who can easily multitask whilst using their up to date knowledge of computer packages to maintain all data entry effectively and efficiently.
Being a sole charge role requires the successful candidate to be proactively motivated to responsibly trouble shoot through the tasks asked of them.
They will have the skills to independently learn all new tasks promptly, be open to and able to professionally cope with changes, while reliably maintaining all standard Ward Administrative duties .
