Project Manager, Corporate Marketing
Forcepoint is looking for a Project Manager, Corporate Marketing to help us drive success for our largest and most impactful internal and external corporate events of the year.
The Project Manager, Corporate Marketing will be an integral partner of the Corporate Marketing team focused on helping to manage organization, accountability and managing to deadlines all the moving parts that help the team execute a successful event.
The Project Manager, Corporate Marketing reports to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing. This role is based in Forcepoint's Austin, TX headquarters.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
- Partner with Corporate Marketing leader to define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Partner cross-functionally with team leads to ensure project deliverables are moving forward to timeline, help identify challenges to execution early and identify paths to resolution
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Assist with management of contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications for Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- 4-6 years of project management and related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
