Area Sales Manager, Seattle

Seattle, Washington / Sales & Strategy - Retail / Full Time THE OPPORTUNITY :

Hint is a brand on FIRE! The #1 flavored water in the US is seeking a strongly motivated Area Sales Manager to join our Seattle sales team, focusing on retail sales accounts in and around Seattle, Washington.

The ASM will oversee and support all aspects of the sales cycle, including management of existing sales accounts, as well as the development and signing of new accounts.

A proactive approach to all aspects of customer and distributor management is a must! + Account Growth and Development : You're well versed in the beverage landscape of your territory and have a network established within regional grocery retail accounts.

You know how to present value and ROI to accounts to drive continued growth within your territory. You'll initiate and maintain contact with key stakeholders at key accounts continuing to build value with the Hint brand and most importantly, you'll close the deal! You'll learn to use the hint sales data analytics tools available to understand your activity, success and identify additional opportunities.

Account Management : You understand the customer's perspective and know-how to communicate Hint's value so they understand and see the ROI of adopting our products.

You'll stay updated on product trends and availability and actively seek out opportunities to benefit your accounts with tailored sales plans.

You'll also communicate changes to these sales plans while offering alternative solutions. Youre a proactive problem solver.

Team Management & Participation : You'll participate in weekly sales calls to highlight successes, discuss challenges and understand regional and company-wide strategies.

You're a team player and eager to help your teammates and accounts achieve greatness.

Promotions & Point of Sale : You're responsible for an excellent in-store experience for our customers and for driving your retailer's sales through off-shelf display activation.

You understand how to navigate POS tools available to partner with your accounts, ensuring shoppers can find their favorite hint package and flavor with ease.

You're excited to 'tap into your creative side' to activate displays that give the WOW factor while driving sales.

Time & Territory Management : You'll plan your week ahead in order to hit all your accounts of priority and give each customer an excellent Hint experience.

You'll also communicate with your Director to plan for promo weeks, corporate display activation, and other sales efforts.

You'll track and monitor progress by consistently using CRM tools (Repsly) to document important info, take pictures, and schedule follow-ups.

Travel : Some travel to other regions for assistance may be requested to support adjacent territories.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING :

  • You have excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • You have strong organization and time management skills
  • You thrive in dynamic, fast paced environments
  • Preferably 2+ years of CPG sales experience
  • Experience with Sales KPIs and know how to achieve quotas and goals
  • You know the Washington territory and have an established network
  • A reliable vehicle with a clean driving record is a must
