Our Client a well Known Investment Bank is seeking a Retirement Operations Analyst in their Jersey City, NJ location!
Responsibilities :
- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to retirement operations, including contributions, distributions, account conversions, recharacterizations, and state withholding reconciliations.
- Perform data analysis and ensure the accurate recording of transactions with appropriate accounting and coding standards.
- Support management in developing metrics that track the progress and resolution of retirement account inquiries.
- Process customer requests for fund transfers out of retirement accounts, ensuring tax implications are understood and properly managed.
- Resolve issues related to retirement accounts, thoroughly documenting the resolution process.
- Ensure data integrity is maintained across client-facing systems and displays.
Qualifications :
- Experience with retirement accounts, IRS regulations, or tax reporting obligations is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments and shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ownership and urgency in addressing and resolving inquiries and issues.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines in a client-driven environment.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically.
