We are currently looking for a Global Information Technology Director to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle ERP system upgrade in North America, and implementation of ERP globally
- Lead the initiative transitioning to a standardized fully integrated and consolidated global organization
- Investigate new and emerging technologies and recommend how they can be leveraged to improve business operations and operational efficiency
- Partner with functional leaders to identify business and technology needs to optimize the use of information technology
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead IT projects of new systems and technologies in line with organizational objectives
- Ensure information systems are available and scalable to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures to safeguard critical data and systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in data privacy and security
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline technical operations and ensure consistent performance
- Evaluate vendors and service providers to ensure cost effective delivery of technical services
- Develop and manage the technical operations budget, tracking expenditures, identifying cost optimization and investment opportunities
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support in their career development
- Manage a direct team of 6 and other members of the global Information Technology team
- Strategic business partner to the Chief Financial Officer, and participate in special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or an advanced degree in a related field, and 10+ years
experience in IT Management or equivalent role.
- A masters degree is preferred
- ERP systems experience including system implementations, integrations, and transitions
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior management
- Process minded, with ability to establish, build and implement best in class processes globally
- Strong project management and people management experience, comfortable with change and driving change
- Extensive understanding of IT security frameworks and compliance (NIST / CMMC / PCI DSS / GDPR / PII / etc.
- Experience and desire to create, build, and grow an organization
- Positive, hardworking, analytical, strategic thinker, and business partner
- Ability to manage competing priorities and manage up, down and across for greater focus and results
- Desire to have a balance of doing and leading, while getting into the details
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
