Job Details :

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Commercial to join our growing organization. As the VP of Commercial, you will be responsible for overseeing global sales, marketing, and product development, leading sales growth, and acting as a hands-on leader.

You will be expected to leverage your sales / business experience through direct sales, distributors, and channel partners to achieve ambitious growth targets.

If you have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, experience working with distributors, and commercial and industrial experience, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all commercial activities of the organization, including global sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales personnel towards achievement of corporate sales objectives.
  • Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
  • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
  • Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning.
  • Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales staff.
  • Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews.
  • Proactively identify changes in the industry, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Manage to meet / exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.

to address key business issues and opportunities.

Travel up to 80% of the time

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and marketing experience, with a focus on leading sales growth.
  • Hands-on experience with direct sales, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial / budgeting processes.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
