SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is excited to announce our partnership with an ultra-luxury hospitality brand as we seek a dynamic and experienced Executive Vice President of Human Resources in Charleston.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the HR strategy and operations for our prestigious client, driving excellence and innovation in the luxury hospitality industry.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports the business goals and overall company vision.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to align people initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
  • Design and implement performance management processes that align with the company's strategic goals and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Coach and guide managers on effective performance feedback, goal-setting, and professional development.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization, promoting an environment that values and respects individual differences.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement strategies in recruitment, hiring, and advancement.
  • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to promote collaboration and alignment across the organization.
  • Effectively communicate HR strategies, initiatives, and updates to all levels of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a significant portion in leadership roles, preferably in luxury hospitality or a related industry.
  • track record of successfully developing and executing comprehensive people strategies that drive organizational success.
  • knowledge of employment laws and regulations, along with experience ensuring HR compliance.
  • interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • experience in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR plans.
  • leadership and team management skills.
  • level of emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar are a plus.
  • organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • organizational and time management skills, with the ability to be responsive and balance priorities, work activities, and resources, in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
