Make recommendations on Code of Conduct revisions and train manage / provide training to hearing board members.Serve as software administrator, track cases and report out regularly;

manage Maxient SoftwareProvide community standards student training to the general population, residential life staff and leadership groups.

Represent Residential Life and Community Standards at campus events and presentations as requested.Distribute and supervise conduct cases that are appropriately heard by Residential Life Assistant Directors in their capacity as designated hearing officers.

Manages student conduct cases including review of all allegations and reports of student misconduct to determine resolution pathway, assigning cases to Assistant Directors of Residential Life when appropriate, advising students of their rights and responsibilities as it relates to Code violations, investigating incidents, and facilitation of formal and informal meetings, outcomes, and interventions.

Takes into consideration campus safety and wellbeing needs, the rights of the individual and other legal requirements, and the provision of opportunities for student development.

Responsible for an independent conduct caseload.Keeps abreast of current literature and developments in the field of Student Affairs and related professional organizations, including student conduct, alternative dispute resolution, restorative justice, and Title IX30 % of Time - Residential EducationCoordinates the recruitment and selection of Resident Advisors in the spring semester, and coordinates any necessary mid-year or mid-semester hiring.

Plans and executes a comprehensive training for Resident Advisors in the Fall and Spring semesters. Issues evaluations of all training sessions and uses assessment to develop future trainings.

Organizes and leads monthly all staff meetings. Develops ongoing training to occur during monthly meetings.Lead the development, implementation and assessment of programs and initiatives within the residence halls that are designed to foster community engagement, student learning and a sense of belonging20 % of Time Administrative Support of Residential LifeServes on University and Division of Student Affairs committees and projects and as an alternate member of the Care Team.

Lead residence hall move-in and move-out processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.Provide leadership and guidance to residential life staff to assure goals, programs, activities, and personnel practices are consistent with and contribute to the Institution's goals and strategies.

Design and implement operating strategies, plans and procedures to assure smooth functioning of Residential Life and Community Standards.

Complete performance management feedback and goals per requirements.Other reasonable duties as assigned.SALARY$65,000Job Requirements : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSApplicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with a culturally diverse population.

Master's degree in from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization in education, higher education administration, student affairs or related field.

Three to five years working in a higher education setting with responsibility for student conduct / community standards.Additional Information :
