We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our client, a reputable financial services firm committed to upholding regulatory standards and best practices.

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating compliance risks, and promoting a culture of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization.

Position Overview :

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess compliance risks, develop compliance strategies, and monitor compliance activities to mitigate risks effectively.

Your role will be essential in promoting a culture of compliance and fostering a strong ethical environment within the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Regulatory Compliance : Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to ensure the organization's operations are compliant with industry regulations and standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring : Conduct ongoing monitoring and testing of compliance controls, policies, and procedures to identify and address potential compliance issues.
  • Compliance Reporting : Prepare and submit compliance reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Risk Assessment : Assess compliance risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement controls to manage and reduce compliance-related risks.
  • Training and Awareness : Provide compliance training and guidance to employees on regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures to enhance compliance awareness and understanding.
  • Investigations : Conduct internal investigations into compliance breaches, allegations of misconduct, or potential violations, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline required; relevant certifications (e.g.

CRCM, CAMS) are a plus.

Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and address compliance risks effectively.
  • Proficient in compliance monitoring tools, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to compliance management.
