Our Senior Network and Systems Administrator will play a key role in delivering Ready Foods’ vision of building a best-in-class infrastructure and smart manufacturing ecosystem.

This role will support the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations, translating technical requirements from our factories into targeted solutions that fit into Ready Foods’ broader data framework, roadmap, and architecture.

This role will be responsible for the network and systems computing requirements of our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate would not only have a passion for building systems per industry standards and troubleshooting issues in a multi-vendor environment but also a deep appreciation for manufacturing and engineering principles.

This position will report to the Chief Information Officer.

The Senior Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing Ready Foods IT infrastructure, ensuring all networks and computer systems run smoothly and securely.

The position is a full-time salaried position reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (CIO).

All Ready Foods team members are responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support for main offices and plants in both a legacy IT environment and the modern workplace consisting of office and plant networks, servers and application environments.
  • Work with cloud technologies and services.
  • Work closely with various functional departments to implement operational requirements for new and existing IT systems.
  • Consult with vendors, external contractors, project team members and internal staff to ensure that IT standards are met with hardware / software / security and policies / procedures.
  • Ability to rapidly absorb and implement new technologies and procedures.
  • Assist in the configuration and management of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), monitor network performance, VPN / Remote Access solutions and security.
  • Perform regular data backups and assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Monitor IT security alerts and respond to potential threats.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Required Skills :
  • 5+ years’ experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a large, networked environment with on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki networks, switching and virtualization technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, administration, and associated hardware.
  • Working knowledge of IT security policies and integration into network and server systems.
  • Experience solving technical problems and identifying opportunities to automate repetitive processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Good understanding and experience applying manufacturing networking technologies and industrial telemetry.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure, and Ignition SCADA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge across infrastructure disciplines and technologies with a broad understanding of IT standards and methodologies.
