Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in data center HVAC design. This role focuses on designing reliable, energy-efficient cooling systems tailored to the high demands of data centers, ensuring system stability and optimal environmental conditions.
Key responsibilities include performing advanced load calculations, selecting appropriate cooling systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs seamlessly.
Knowledge of data center infrastructure and best practices in redundancy, airflow management, and energy efficiency is highly valued.
Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, building codes, and industry standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design HVAC systems for data centers with a focus on energy efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct advanced load calculations and select high-efficiency equipment.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Develop detailed drawings, technical specifications, and compliance documentation.
- Apply data center standards, including redundancy and airflow management practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven HVAC design experience, ideally in data centers or similar environments.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy efficiency practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
