We are a growing dental DSO group, committed to delivering high-quality care with a personal touch. To better serve our patients, we are looking for an organized and detail-oriented candidate to add to our Revenue Cycle Management team.
Job Overview :
This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing patient and insurance payments, claim management, and patient account receivables.
You will be responsible for assisting with verifying insurance coverage and helping patients understand their financial responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Verify and manage patient insurance coverage and benefits.
- Submit and track insurance claims, ensuring timely payment.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance policies and financial obligations.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim denials or adjustments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient financial records.
- Answer patient inquiries related to billing, insurance, and payment options.
- Collaborate with the practices business team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a dental office, particularly in billing, insurance coordination, or patient finance (required).
- Knowledge of adult Medicaid & LHI plans (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Open Dental software is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in dental billing or finance is preferred.
