We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee our civil infrastructure projects, including heavy highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and other concrete-related structures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to establish project objectives and ensure effective communication.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee project budgets, including cost tracking and forecasting, to ensure financial performance aligns with company goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate problem-solving.
- Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, are accurately maintained.
- Manage project risk through proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote collaboration among project team members.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, particularly in highway and bridge construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
